PowerDNS hangs if domains/record table locked in mysql backend

Description

If you have table(s) locked, powerdns process becomes completely unresponsive. Should timeout quite fast and report locking problem.

No, if you mess up the backend, we die with it. We don't improve on your raw data. The 'nest' backend might help you at a later stage to continue functioning if you have a functioning backend left.
